NFL-WTF

The Stroock family painted the basement sage green. It's patchy and we'll need to do some touchups today, but overall not bad.

The knee is almost okay. We may lift today. Or not.

What to write this week? We'll be going over 76 for sure. The Korean War awaits. After that we still haven't made up our mind. To put it another way, we're completely unprepared. Worse. We have no ju-ju. Ever closer we creep to putting down The Final Storm. Now The Weser, there we know what we're doing. Why struggle against the tide (The Final Storm) when you can swim with it (The Weser)?

We are working on some collusion. Do we have to explain to the Ruskis how to pronounce Buttigieg? We do? Goddamnit.

So we have a podcast set up and ready to go via Patreon. The question is, will you people plunk down a dollar a month (that's American) to listen to me talk for half an our or so. Will you plunk down three dollars (still American) for writing tips, insights, etc etc?

What Will's Watching, NBC Sunday Night Football, Seattle at Pittsburgh. It's the middle of the 4th quarter. The game is humming along, broadcast is solid. Pittsburg QB Ben Roethlisberger drops back and seemingly fumbles. Or is it an incomplete pass? It takes the refs on the field a few minutes to rule the play an incomplete pass. Then Seattle coach Pete Carroll challenges the call and it takes New York several more minutes to issue its ruling. Man, does the NFL ever love its play stoppages. We switched channels and finished watching Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (review coming this week).

Monday Metal. No major insights. Last week we decided to breakout the Led Zeppelin, which we haven't really listened to in several years. Here's a classic. We didn't hear it till they released the box set in 1990. Travelling Riverside Blues also makes a cameo in A line Through the Desert. Yes, we shall go down to Rosedale with our rider by our side. I would make a deal with the devil there in a second:
