It was supposed to be one goddamn novel about NATO leaders sitting in a room and saying things like, 'Now this is no time to go wobly, George.'

Can't we just move on with our life? We can't? No? Goddamn it. When there is a business reason stop writing these goddamn World War 1990 novels we'll stop writing these goddamn World War 1990 novels.

We might strike Before the Weser as our ideas for Before the Weser keep becoming novels. See for example Nederland, which was supposed to be a short story in Before the Weser.

We could probably fold Thatcher's War* into Election '92, otherwise the latter would just have a lot of Al Gore talking and William Kristol pulling dirty tricks.**

We want to crank out one of these a year.*** This schedule gets us into our mid-fifties. And who knows what other ideas we'll have? Or what other ideas you goddamn people will put in our malleable head? World War 1990: Slovakian Onslaught, World War 1990: the Lesbos Affair [Knobhead-Ed]. You and I both know this will happen. 

In the meantime, reader(s), wait with baited breath for World War 1990: What the hell did Will just come up with?/stop encouraging me, that's a really good idea you motherfuckers.

*The IRA is going to make Maggie really, really mad. 

**Actually one plot line features a shrink who talks to a lot of veterans. 

***Well fuck all, The Final Storm seems like a stretch but The Weser is doable. Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!
