Encouraging Brandon

Like with every election we planned to find something else to do last night, and then got sucked into the coverage. Perhaps we're enjoying this way to much, but after watching the Dems steal the election last year, the slow, agonizing tally of absentee and mail in ballots, and the Georgia debacles, man could we ever use a win. As a mater of fact, all that was a year ago, wasn't it? I stand by everything I said here.

A steady stream of people were going into and coming out of our polling place. We ran into neighbors, our periodically mentioned Russian friends. There's just something heartwarming about seeing people who fled the USSR come out to vote.

Everyone wants to talk about Virginia but ho lee fuk, here in New Jersey. As of this writing with 98 percent of the vote counted Jack leads by a thousand votes. That's a 14 point swing since 2017. Jack has some real pros working for him. Yesterday Route-22, the main local drag through Somerset County, was blanketed with Jack signs. A dozen at every exit, 20 along the median. If you don't think campaign signs matter, you don't know politics.

And how about them Virginia GOPs! A sweep for the state's top three offices and the state house. At one point we were watching the returns and Mrs. Stroock said, 'Wow Youngkin is still leading by a lot.' To which we replied, 'Yeah but when Richmond reports...' to which she replied, 'Richmond has reported.' To which we replied, 'By Ganesh's trunk, McAuliffe's somosa is going to get deep fried.'

Conservative twitter recommended watching CNN's and MSNBC's election reaction. They did not disappoint. We greatly enjoyed their complete physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual breakdown last night. We admit it. We were aroused, sexually.

Political prognost Larry Sabato used the word bloodbath.  This is the right word. This blog also suggests massacre, wipeout, Stalingrad, anal-reeming. Facial-destruction might be going a bit too far, but only a bit. When we saw Sabato's sad, angst ridden face, it moved a little. We're not proud. Joe landing just after the networks finally called the race for Youngkin was...nice.

Note to fuck-head CNN analyst: No one voted for Youngkin or Jack because the Dems failed to pass infrastructure and reconciliation.

Here in Bridgewater, town crier and internet pest Stacey Katz Friedlander was elected to the school board, mother*******!. In fact we were only 1-3 in our choices. The Bridgewater town council remains in the grip of the GOP.

How bad was the left's night? the Atlanta Braves won the World Series. Pretty funny after low-T commish Rob Manfred (the Jeb Bush of baseball commissioners)  took the Allstar Game out of Atlanta.
