NFL playoffs tonight. This blog takes Tennessee over Cincinatti and Green Bay over San Francisco in a tight, tense game.
Lots of movement and action this week.
We sent an article to Moscow Thursday night but the Inforos website went down and remains down as of this writing. Our KGB handler says the article will go up Monday and then implored us to keep writing. Why are we so goddamn important? [Nightingale Russia says you lend respectability-Ed] Nightingale Russia knows fuck-all and can piss right-off. [Look at you, letting out your inner Liverpudlian-Ed]
Maybe we're underestimating ourselves. Afterall we are a man of talent and renown, with our work appearing in multiple publications on multiple continents and international political poles.
The things.
We got The Great Nuclear War of 1975 MS back from the editor. We immediately sent the MS to the formatter. They're working on the interior and the cover now. We'll read the hard copy to find the last 10 typos.
We did a lot of work on The Great Salvation of 1976 and we're about done, right? [Right-Ed] Right!
We spent this week writing The Final Storm's SAS scene and expect to do the same next week. We'll be keeping virtually nothing from what we wrote previously.
We've spent much time hemming and hawing about release dates and we have a plan. [I laugh-Ed]. You're not god. [No. I'm mummy-Ed] True. This plan hinges on The Final Storm. We're getting real optimistic. Right now, we'd like to release 75 on 1 May, The Final Storm on 1 September and 76 on 1 December. This is how we did things in 2020 with Three Seas, Seven Stories, and Nederland. We intend to stick with our one FORWARD one BACK World War 1990 plan.
The Weser needs probably one more month of work and would come out next year along with the next FORWARD World War 1990 novel; Esercito Italiano? Boy do we ever have a great character for that one, a US Army chaplain named Abdul Cairo, or some such. Just think of what he's going to see in Jugoslavia and what it's going to make him want to do, and with whom. Our Italian guy is on standby.
Soooo, what's the other novel we're writing in 2022 and what's 2023's third novel?
