Saturday Updates

We had a great week of gym workouts, 15 minutes on the treadmill, rower, Stairmaster, rope pulley, and bike. We feel sore but great. We shall continue with this regimen till we plateau and then reevaluate. We intend to supplement gym time with walking. Despite the progress we can't seem to drop our weight into the 245-250 category.

We went to services last night. Because the Rabbi was out of town Mrs. Stroock was up at the bema (pulpit for you Christians). We felt pride and love. Actually, way back in 1994 [Oh god, here we go again-Ed] she was the cantor at her synagogue. On one of our first dates, a Friday night, we went to the Olive Garden [classy-Ed] and then to services. We can still see her in that green dress...wow.

We shall finish one of our books on Russia and Putin this weekend and move on to another book about Russia and Putin.

Things.

The Final Storm is 75,000 words. The first 13,000 describe events in Georgia and the Roki Tunnel. There's another 30,000 or so of intro and prep. Here's what the Italians are up to (to set up Esercito Italiano), here's what the Brits are doing, etc etc. The Final Storm is a big mess. Right now it's either too long or not long enough. Whatever The Final Storm is right now, it's not rising to the level of a book that describes the last 24 hours of World War Three.

We have read through the softcover of The Great Nuclear War of 1975. This entails reading, noting edits, making edits and then checking edits. That's it, done. Fin. We've read 75 so much that we think it stinks. This is normal. This clears the way for us to read a printout of The Great Salvation of 1976.

The Great Nuclear War of 1975 will be uploaded and ready to go next week. We're not sure when we're going to hit the PUBLISH button. May Day? Releasing books on 1 May, 1 September and 1 December really worked in 2020. However, why wait? Why not press the button 1 March? As Yoda said, 'Patience. For the Jedi it is time to eat as well.'

March will be World War 1990: The Weser month. At this point it is probable The Weser will come out before The Final Storm. We'll see.
