This is post 4947.
A gout attack late last night has ruined our planned weekend trip to the Stroock Northern Strategic Direction in the Berkshires. Mother!@#$%!What Will's Watching, Kenobi, episode 1. We didn't hate it. We thought the troika of Jedi hunters were actually pretty good, well characterized, menacing. The story is going directions we wouldn't go. But overall, not bad.
This blog continues to get a steady trickle of traffic from Russia. Why don't you guys look me up on social media? We'll talk. Actually, any reader is welcome to that. Please.
The things:
The editor still has World War 1990: the Weser.
After nearly three months sales of The Great Nuclear War of 1975 are falling. The book is in danger of falling out of the top 50 of its Amazon category.
We've been very, very slowly going through the Georgia section of The Final Storm. The going is slow mostly because we don't want to do it. The section needs a lot of work, and we're wondering if maybe we should just axe it.
We are still writing the reestablishing sovereignty chapter of The New American order. Overall, a slow but steady week of progress. Cracks are opening and we are filling them. The navy sends PBRs to Long Beach Island. These same boats make contact with the so-called Gator Republic in the Okefenokee Swamp. Things get a little weird there. A DoJ team visits a hippie commune in Washington State. Hanging over all of this is the Panther People's Republic in the hills east of Oakland/San Francisco. Why not just Arclight the bastards? 37,000 words.
