Updates for a February Saturday

I don't believe it! They refunded my money! SODA PDF actually refunded my money! And all it took was my calling several times, being a total asshole to their customer service staff, and taking to twitter to shame them into doing the right thing. What a nasty, unpleasant business.

Daddy/Daughter Dance was a smashing success. We got jiggy with it.

You know...we live in a censorious world. When we started this blog in 2015, we always tried to emulate our late FBF Kathy Shaidle, who more or less wrote what she wanted without fear. We've never re-edited a post for content or deleted a published post. About half a dozen times we've written a post and said, na. We've always said we don't censor ourselves. But we do. Everyday. Everyday we see things that appall, offend and outrage us and we say nothing.

On to the things.

Overall, a fine week.

Book sales have passed their peak. Which goes to show that our Twitter efforts are pointless. Probably Gab, too.

After deciding we've done all we can to World War 1990: The Final Storm's Pacific scenes we put the MS down.

We're taking World War 1990: Norway slowwwwww. We've written the opening PM scene and are writing the scenes where the Chief of Staff briefs him (and therefore the reader) on what the Soviets are up to, where Norwegian forces are deployed and what help they can expect from NATO. These are short, couple of paragraph long scenes. Which is not how we usually operate. Oh look, we're differentiating Norway a bit from the other World War 1990 books.

We had an intellectual breakthrough as to what Norway is going to look like and what Norway is going to be. Heh. We haven't thought about the Soviets in weeks.

2,500 words.

Great news with The New American Order. We have read through (on screen) four chapters and have three to go. This includes finalizing the future history. Exit question: what world leaders are listening to presidential speeches? Nations covered, UK and the commonwealth, Germany, France, Israel, Syria, Pakistan. We covered China in The Aftermath of 1976
