We arise bored this morning, wishing the weather would let us get started on yard work. We intend to put some effort into the yard this year, so we don't spend our weekends staring at a screen. Today it is not to be. There's always something to do around the house.
We had good back to backs at the gym, and a good pair of back to backs at the gym this week. We're a little bored with it, to be honest.
Maybe a cigar and beer this afternoon. We'll see.
What Will's Watching: The Mandalorian season 3, episode 1. We'll sum it up this way, something interesting is happening, in this case the initiation of a young Mandalorian...time for a giant crocodile! Episode 1 bounced from one scrap to another. Pirates, then more pirates! We were entertained, up to a point. But we couldn't help comparing the kid's Mandalorian to the grownup Andor. 2/4
So then we rewatched The Mandalorian season-2 finale, when Mando and a bunch of other Mandalorians take an imperial light cruiser, dealing death and destruction to the hapless Storm Troopers and crew. Does anyone else remember how Storm Troopers burst onto the screen in Star Wars? Yeah, we'd like to introduce The Mandalorian writers to the concept of tension. There is none when Mando and the gang can dispatch dozens of Storm Troopers without breaking a sweat.
