Saturday Updates

It's a cool 63 degrees here this morning at the Stroock Northern Strategic Direction. Welcome to the Berkshires. 

The weather thingy predicted rain all day. Finally, when we were thinking it was time for an evening boat ride, the skies opened up. 

We did a tonne of bush trimming and pruning and pulling yesterday. Looks like a tree guy is coming next week. We think the next big capitol expense up here is landscaping. 

We've hit a wall with Spanish. The problem may just be we're doing a lot less driving, which is when we listen to the CDs. But we don't feel we're making a lot of progress and we're not feeling like listening to Spanish or doing Duolingo exercises. 

We'll be making multiple runs to the town dump this weekend. 

The Things, or thing.

We've had an excellent week working on the Battle of Tromso in World War 1990: Norway. This is why we don't outline much. We write and wait for the cracks to develop from which ideas come. We've got a nice VDV assault going, with ideas for supplemental scenes.  VDV, not VDV, VDV, not VDV, etc etc. We don't really have a NATO/Norwegian character at Tromso. Do we need one? We dunno. We will have the rough of this chapter done by the time we leave next Friday.
