Dispatches from the Jersey Shore, the Second Day

Awww....the real Ed stopped by here yesterday to body-shame us. We love it when she visits, Liverpudlian wench.

Why don't we call Beach Haven, 'The Southern Strategic Direction'? We don't know...we don't know.

We had plenty of fun in the sun yesterday and managed to do so without getting too crisped. By the afternoon our foot was oddly feeling a lot better. Ninety percent? We had a pleasant evening bayside eating dinner at the park and watching the sunset.  Overall, a fine first day at the beach.

We weren't able to do much thinking [No surprise there-Ed] about the Red Dawn Thingy. So we guess will sit in our chair and think about French F-8 Crusaders and Swedish Viggens and what not. World War 1990: Norway it is. The weather will suck tomorrow. The womenfolk will go shopping. After 50 years on this earth, we've learned that when the womenfolk go shopping, the wise man hunkers down some place. We think we'll work on the Swedish intermission chapter.

Powerline argues that the Trump mugshot has backfired massively on the Dems. We (and others) argued before that it's possible the Dems are indicting Trump to help him get the nomination and also that the Dems are so crazed they'll do anything to get Trump. Afterall, he's already beaten the Dems twice and they're terrified he'll do it a third time. To put it another way, the Dems are completely nuts. We recall when the GOP (including ourselves) was obsessed with getting Clinton.

The mugshot is the Dems version of W's 'Mission Accomplished' PR disaster. Just imagine if memes had existed in 2003. The mugshot is certainly helping Trump. We've never said Trump can't win. We've just never thought he would. We stand by that. Exit question, is it possible the Dem's could 'self own' themselves into a third Trump victory? We caution once again, that none of this matters. So long as the Dems control the means of counting, they will win.

An interesting review of The New American Order from the UK:  'Predictable in parts but last few chapters in particular very thought provoking. Some stereotypical presentation of historical characters that brings it down from a 5 star...' Chances are he knows little or nothing about Rockefeller. We wonder if he means Thatcher and Enoch Powell. God Save the King. Good lord, we recall the last chapter of TNO, but can't for the life of us remember what happens in the second to last chapter. We have moved on. Oh, that's right, Rockefeller's inauguration speech, the PPR, etc etc...
