We had back-to-back days at the gym this week. Yesterday we felt sore and tired but this morning we feel okay.
We've had the Mann vs Steyn trial on in the background most of the day. [Loser-Ed]. I know, right.
There's Israeli/Jewish Peres' who want to give the whole nation away so the Gazans and West Bank Persons like them. Then there's these Morons: 'For some on the right, conquering the Gaza Strip and reestablishing Israeli settlements there is no longer just a dream: Government ministers, leading Knesset members, public figures and thousands of activists have been vigorously working on the plan since the war with Hamas began on October 7, and have ramped up their efforts in the last few weeks.'
Actually, we'd let the resettlement of Gaza talk flourish and the planning continue just to create another problem for the Gazans and Arabs to negotiate away. For some of those people, we think Gaza would be a good place.
Heavy fighting in Khan Younis continues with reports describing Israeli forces being 'in the heart' of the city.
Israeli negotiating stances and news are all over the place. We stand by our supposition that Israeli negotiation is strategic misdirection.
In the meantime the IDF is demolishing buildings along the Gaza side of the border to create a buffer zone. Some interesting poll results from Israel. Despite reservations, Israeli man seems stoically determined to fight on and win.
By the way, Israel signed a huge arms deal with the US today, getting munitions, F-35 and F-15 fighters, and Apache attack helicopters. Biden's not great on Israel and the war, but he's good enough.
Speaking of more ammo, the Israelis conducted a couple of dozen airstrikes in Lebanon yesterday and today. The health ministry is holding war, mass casualty drills.
The LA Times has laid off dozens of reporters and staff. We've enjoyed their suffering immensely. After seeing one of them set up a mutual aid society with a Venmo, we've enjoyed their suffering even more. We asked if they take Shcrute-Bucks.
We are halfway done with the World War 1990: Norway readthrough. We're down to nitpicking. The MS probably needs a hard copy readthrough. But yeah, it's okay. Fine even.
Interesting note, we know a helicopter guy, let's just leave it at that. He says the scene in The Final Storm where a Chinook clips the top of GUM and cartwheels into St. Basil's (a bit about which we had reservations) was totally realistic. Or he had no problem with the scene, anyway. He also thinks Marine Cobras joining the NATO counterattack at Tromso is suicidal.
Yes it would be but us Marines would be begging to join in the attack might be better to switch to harriers Marine Amphibious units would of had some attached along with Cobra units
