Saturday Updates

Good morning, Stroock's Books Kibbutzim. We celebrated Shabot across America last night with our fellow congregates under the protection of an extremely large and very armed former cop. Your damn right we fed the man, bless him. We ourselves had way too many sweets last night.

Our new minivan has one of those fancy computer map systems. Last night the computer knew we were going to the synagogue. The computer knew it was Shabot. Creepy. From there the jokes write themselves.

It's a rainy Saturday morning here in northern New Jersey. We had thought we'd do a five miler today and smoke our third Arturo Fuente of the year. Alas it is not to be. Maybe tomorrow.

The Things:

A tough but excellent week with World War 1990: Norway. We've read through virtually everything. We've two chapters left to read and a few more Hauk boat scenes to write. We may or may not finish them this weekend. We'll see. Either way it's almost time to stop. Almost.

Ahha! We have our alternate history anthology story idea. We'll talk about it tomorrow as we don't quite know the plot yet. But we've got the time, place and characters. The spark will come.
