Saturday Updates

Good Saturday, Stroock's Books constituents.

Last night Mrs. Stroock told us, 'You're tired and pissy, and we don't want to be around your vibe,' so we didn't go to services.

We had good reason for our pissiness, as we just shelled out two thousand big ones on the Honda Pilot. Also we were just tired.

The Things:

Our Poncho Villa alternate history short story is coming along just fine. We're setting the scene, the ambience, etc etc. Character is coming along. A grizzled Major heading a company of scouts, watching the Second Mexican War unfold around him. Look, there's MacArthur. Oh, here comes Pershing. 'Major, I knew your father.' Reminder, before the Great War, Pershing was a counterinsurgency expert.

World War 1990: Norway. We're calling it. It's time to stop. We've sent out feelers to the various editors.
