Friday Late and Short

Shabbat Shalom, Stroock's Books reader(s). Day four of our solitude, and the moroseness is really setting in. Soon stuff will start getting downright weird around here.

We had local fireworks last night, as always, and rain.

We woke up to see strong sales of World War 1990: Norway. The book spent a most of the week in the top 20 of its Amazon category. This morning Norway is #29.

The British public has spoken, and His Majesty should send for Mr. Starmer right away [He has!-Ed]. Nigel Farage won a seat, one of four won by Reform, which got more than four million votes to the Tories six million. Reform is now the 3rd largest party in Britain. Farage will be a fun gadfly in Parliament. By the way, for all you fru-fru Europeans criticizing America's Electoral College System:

Go suck on your lame metric numbers, Fritz.

Baaaah! We should know better than to put off doing a post till Friday afternoon. These are out absolutely most useless times of the week.
