Shana Tova, Stroock's Books Kibbutzim. We should be off to services in about an hour of this writing to ring in the new year with the shofar. We write 'should' because we're on the tail end of a cold. One does not want to go to the synagogue and expose one's fellow and older parishioners to whatever this is. Gametime decision.

Israel has not yet struck Iran, which seems wise. Let them sweat it out for a while. Joe says he doesn't want Israel to hit Iranian nuclear facilities. What's it worth to you, Joe?

On his podcast, the great Stephen L. Miller said he thinks the Veep debate is very bad news for Kamala and the Dems. The party hid the developmentally disabled Tim Walz from the public till his disastrous debate performance. Miller is no Trump man and one of the skeptics we follow to get a sense for how the political winds are really blowing. The Black Pill tastes bad and is hard to swallow.

In local political news a young candidate for the school board stopped by yesterday to ask for our vote. He looked like one of Oldest Daughter's school mates. 'How old are you?' we asked. '21, sir,' he replied. 'Wow,' we replied back. On the word of our friend on the school board we'll support this nice, polite, good looking young Rutgers man.

We are slogging through Morning Rory, making the story better. Also we ordered some books to help with the other stories, including one about the Soviet space station program. We had forgotten we wanted to write a story about the Soviet space station in War Night.  After these the nuclear Fulda story remains. That ought to just about do it. Note the wiggle room in our phraseology.
