Bat Mitzvah weekend has arrived. Services tonight and tomorrow, followed by a party with friends and family.
Staying with Jew stuff, The New York Post reports, 'An anti-Israel TikToker who amassed millions of views for wrecking a decorative string of Greek flags that she confused for Israeli outside a New Jersey eatery was busted for the ludicrous blunder.' Good. And by the way, the flag of the Jewish State isn't going to have a cross, DC. We really don't understand this influencer's motivations. DC filmed her vandalism, is confronted by some very confused Greek owners, told she's tearing down the Greek flag, and posts the video anyway? DC indeed. Exit question: how is this not a Florida Man story?
Even more Jewy, the Times of Israel reports on a Republican Jewish Coalition ad for Trump. 'A political ad portraying Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump as the safer choice for Jews is being criticized for appearing to traffic in stereotypes...' Here's the ad:
Sitting around a Jewish deli, kvetching? Oy vey. Note we occasionally write about going to a Jewish deli. So just like the Geico Caveman commercial says, it's not a stereotype if it's true. And honestly, we thought the ad would be cringier and tropier. Hmmm...if the ad is causing controversy, then it must be working, and that controversy is causing the ad's message to spread. The imams are right, the Jew is clever.
Reacting to yesterday's football/college football rumination, the leader of this blog's Confederate Contingent has once again urged us to support Ole Miss, alma mater of the New York Giants' Eli Manning. I dunno, man. Hey, why not Jersey's own Rutgers? Why are you laughing?
Related, we got into another FB spat on a post asking if the Giants should have drafted Ben Rothlisberger instead of Eli Manning. We quipped, 'Eli Manning is the two-time Super Bowl MVP. Ben Rothlisberger apologized to his teammates after Super Bowl XL.' In fairness to Big Ben, he won two Super Bowls and is a HoF QB (also). The post was not really about Big Ben but Eli. If you don't think Eli Manning was a great QB, you don't understand football and should find something else to watch, like current Giants' QB Daniel Jones.
You should come over to the dark side of college football the power on the dark side is way more powerful than that crappy Big Ten join us and let the hate flow through you
