A Very Jewy Friday

Shabbat Shalom, Stroock's Books Kibbutzim.

For some reason we awoke with One Direction's You and I in our head. What's up with that? [Three teenage girls in the house, that's what's up with that-Ed]. Time for some Rory Gallagher.

We spotted a drone last night. We saw a square cluster of blue, red and green lights flying in a part of the sky where one does not normally see aircraft. We're sure it's nothing. Or it may be the Jews, and on a Friday too.

The Times of Israel reports that if Israel held an election today, Netanyahu's Likud would win the most Knesset seats (25 out of 120) but neither the Bibi nor the anti-Bibi block would win enough seats to form a government. A hypothetical block led by Naftali Bennett would win 66 seats. Bennett is the future, but Bibi is the present and right now the Knesset remains deadlocked. For years Netanyahu has kept Bennett, Sa'ar, Lapid, Gantz, and the Democrats (Meretz and Labour) divided and at odds.* Which is one of the reason's he's run rings around Hamas and Hezbollah. By the way, Don't get your hopes up, peaceniks. Bennett's hypothetical government would include Avigdor Lieberman, who thinks Bibi's been too easy on Gaza.

Druze villages on the Golani border are asking for Israeli protection and possible annexation. Who can blame them? Israel should do this. Flood the zone with crap that will piss off the UN, the ICC, etc etc.

Speaking of flooding the zone....Israel Radar warns Israel may soon launch a massive attack on Yemen. Good.  You know, a very talented and good-looking author once wrote a novel about Israel waging war in the Red Sea.

So we keep relating current events to our various backlist novels in an effort to boost sales. Let's see how that effort is going...Not well. Not well at all. Selling books is an art not a science. You know what sells books? New books.

*Bibi's also hung around way to long and made a lot of enemies. Nobody really likes Bibi anymore.

  1. Read your submarine story in James Young book. Very good and I liked the twist.

I like the book and when finished it will get a good review.
