Green Ganged

We threw one heck of an 18th birthday party for Oldest Daughter yesterday. The basement was filled with confident, impressive, good looking young people. Everyone's applied to Rutgers. Nice energy, good kids....when did we become a condescending adult [Oh, 18 years ago-Ed]? We're getting a little emotional, damn it.

Go back and look at yesterday's post and behold our Anton Chigurh* haircut. Three days later we chopped it all off. We regret that, a little. We were a few months away from having a truly glorious mane of hair. When we walked into work afterwords the front desk lady said, 'Someone got a dad haircut.' Your damn right we did.

A most impressive win for Mrs. Stroock's Eagles yesterday on the road against the Ravens 24-19. It wasn't that close. That last Ravens TD came during garbage time. The defense looked good, and so did ex-Giant Saquon Barkley who rushed for over a hundred yards in a tough game. We'll break out a saying we haven't used in a year. The Eagles look big, strong, and tough.

Well of course Joe pardoned Hunter. If reader(s) believed he wouldn't issue the pardon, we don't want them reading this blog. Or we at least would like to interest them in some Arkansas real estate investment opportunities. All the Dems' 'rule of law' and 'nobody is above the law' arguments go right out the window onto the cold, hard Wilmington ground. Joe knew what he was doing. Remember, no couple outside of Mar-a-Lago was happier on election night than Jill and Joe.  Trump can do whatever he wants now, and on Inauguration Day he should issue mass pardons, starting with J6 political prisoners. Today should be fun. We love how much we love the chaos.

At this point we're almost bored with the Gaza war. We didn't check in on Israeli news sources for nearly an hour after we got up.  We expect the war to wind down on terms most favorable to the Israelis. Joe will spend the next 49 days screwing over Israel as best he can, but in the long run, Donald Trump is the president. He's already conducting foreign policy out of Mar-a-Lago.

Okay we got Ambush at Lingayen Gulf back from the editor and he wants some changes. Reminder, we come from a journalism background. In that business the editor's word is law. Ambush at Lingayen Gulf is due back in a week and should be published as part of an anthology in January. Speaking of, Violent Blue Yonder got Instalanched yesterday and this morning is in the top ten (#6!) of Amazon's alternate history category.

*Wow, spellcheck recognizes that.
