Well, damn it all, we spotted a drone last night. For sure. A collection of blinky lights flying low, then stopping and hovering for several minutes before moving on. Yes we took a few pics, but they don't really show anything. NJ.com has an excellent report about drone activity and sightings in New Jersey these last two weeks. Reminder we're still in the opening scenes of the first act of this alien/paranormal movie. Why can't this be happening during the summertime so we could sit out on the deck with a bottle and an Arturo Fuente? Damn it all again.

Moving on to the Levant, in Northwestern Syria Hama is gone and Homs is going. During the late Civil War the Syrian Arab Army doggedly hung on and defeated Assad's enemies. Why has it collapsed in Northwestern Syria? What has happened in the intervening decade? We're consulting our sources. We don't have a man on the ground there, but we know someone who does. 

The very interesting Michael Malice interviews the also very interesting Mike Cernovich. Malice asked Cernovich an extremely interesting question: have we reached peak Woke? You kidding us? We'll take the reader back to December 2004. We thought that after W defeated John Kerry, the Dems would set aside their differences with W and support the war effort. Go ahead and laugh. We do. The Dems doubled down and did everything they could to lose the Iraq War. The same will happen with Woke.
