Derry or Roki?

Good morning, Stroock's Books midweekers.*

Right now the temperature is a brisk 15 degrees. The blizzard once expected on Wednesday is still cancelled. We may see some fluries.

We completed another three-day gym cycle of weights, cardio, and strength. We feel based, based AF.

Well it looks like Hamas murdered Mrs. Bibas and her children. Hamas' strategy seems to be cruel psychological warfare. To what end? For all the talk of us not understanding them, it's important to remember that very often they do not understand us. What does this cruelty get Hamas? The Israelis will get four dead hostages back on Thursday and six living hostages on Saturday.

Meanwhile Trump is exerting enormous pressure upon the Arabs to formulate their own plan for Gaza. Good. He also insists Hamas will not remain in Gaza. Double plus good. We see Trump has cut off all funding for PA security forces. Triple plus good [Not a thing-Ed].

We've devoted a lot of time during the last year to building an audience on Substack. Meh. As this blog's 10th anniversary approaches (April 8), we're toying with the idea of closing down blogger and putting everything behind a Substack paywall. We'll see.

Also, after doing nothing on Gab for a year, we're going back there and blegging for info. We just joined the Gab Irish Republicans group. Why not? We see despite not doing anything on Gab we haven't lost any followers. Nothing much has changed there. It feels good to be back. Speak freely.

Yesterday we wrote two scenes and researched the Irish Rangers. We damn near Roki Tunneled the entire Derry chapter, but after writing those two scenes we feel better about the whole project. The situation in Derry is getting downright zany. 'Oh, are those soldiers on the Craigavon Bridge, and is that the Irish tricolor? Bloody hell.' As we've said, we'll write what we want to happen and then go back and add what must needs be added for what we to happen to work.

*Huh, another word which we thought didn't exist but is in fact recognized by spell check. We are rolling.
