If one had told us a month ago that the US senate would approve every one of Trump's cabinet nominees, including Tulsi Gabbard and RFK JR....why, we would have said the authorities should lock one up in the looney bin. Trump is the undisputed master of the Republican Party, and Senate Majority Leader John Thune rules the senate in Trump's name. Remarkable.

RFK Jr's. confirmation is the most surprising. This blog doesn't have a strong opinion on RFK Jr. He's an important part of the Trump coalition, and we're glad he's there. Twenty years ago we loathed the man and believed he was nuts. RFK Jr. has been wrong about certain vaccines in the past and has modified his position for his job. Which is fine. But don't doubt that RFK Jr. knows what he's talking about on this and other health issues. We're not saying he's right about everything, just that he understands the issues. RFK Jr. is certainly right about food and what we're putting in our food. When we a kid people were not this fat, and nobody had peanut allergies. Something is wrong.

Yesterday we wrote two more scenes in World War 1990: Thatcher's War and came up with a couple of more scenes for today.
