Europe? Srysly?

Good morning, Stroock's Books Kibbutzim and shabbat shalom.

The knee and foot are still just a tiny bit sore. We'll be hitting the gym this afternoon regardless.

Two of the Stroock girls are away for a school event this weekend, leaving the third with the house to herself. She has big plans. A trip to the mall is scheduled as is movie night. There's talk of watching Moana 2.

We'll be getting in a Judaism tonight as it's our grandfather's Yahrzeit. Seven years now this March 4th

There's lots of news this week about French President Macron calling for Europe to switch to a 'Wartime economy' and offering to protect the Continent with France's nuclear umbrella. Excuse us while we retire to the corner with a bottle and laugh ourselves senseless.

Where are the Euros getting the funds for rearmament? What welfare benefits are they cutting? And who is going to fill out the ranks? Stroock's Books believes that, shall we say, recent immigrants to Britain, may not be so willing to fight for King and Country. This ain't Dunkirk. To quote the great M Steyn this morning, the UK is a sick land, dying before our eyes.

Vive le France!

Reminder, we are in the age of great men and Europe has Ursula van der Lynden and Emanuelle Macron.

DOGE report: more of the same, really. We read over several scenes in the Battle of Derry. We started a couple more scenes. Progress is slow. Chapter I is...okay. Chapter II is an unfocused mess at the moment. Which is just fine. Chapter III is probably just going to be the UDR commander listening to radio reports about the combined UDR and RUC retaking Derry from the IRA, the UVF, and the various mobs.

We read through another story in War Night. Two more stories to go.

We feel a lazy Friday coming on. We hate those.
