Happy Easter, Stroock's Book's Christian reader(s). He has risen.
Yesterday we put the new patio furniture together and then helped a friend and neighbor take down a tree. We love our chainsaw. God help us we do love it so. Later we all sat out in the pleasant evening breeze and had drinks. A fine Saturday.
Woman of the house! We have been doing man things. Send the kids to the neighbors and make yourself pretty! Ow! Ouch! Yikes! Stop hitting me! [Knobhead-Ed].
We admit our back is a bit tense and sore.
So the great James Young sent this along:
We're one step closer to writing a 5th book in the Great Nuclear War of 1975 series.
Moving on to Will's Good Idea for the Week of 4/20/25. First, we'll spend today thinking of ideas for the fifth book.
But also, we noticed that yesterday was the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington/Concord. Eat it, King Charles [Why you impudent Yank-Ed]. Devotees of Stroock's Books will recall that 20 years ago we completed our MA in the American Revolution. What if over the next 6 years or so we wrote a series of articles on the American Revolution for various magazines?

I know way more about the Civil War than the revolutionary war being Southern the Civil War is just in our blood but I've always wanted to know more about American Loyalist units haven't really found a good book or articles about them yet maybe you have some recommendations if you wrote a book about them you would have at least one buyer
