Will's Good Idea for the Week of 4/27/25

Good Sunday afternoon, Christian faithful of Stroock's Books and everyone else.

Yesterday was a dull day in which we didn't get much done. We also saw plenty of rain.

Hahahah...Glamour QB Shedeur Sanders was finally drafted yesterday. In the 5th round. By the Cleveland Browns. That's one hell of a come down for Shedeur and Deion who thought he was going in round one to someplace like Chicago, Pittsburgh or even New York.

Ahhh-hahahahah. For foreign reader(s), being drafted by the Cleveland Browns is like...being drafted by the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland is NFL purgatory. Hell even. And the sad-sack perennial loser Browns waited till the 5th round to say, 'Sanders is still there? Fuck it. Might as well take a flyer on him.'

Let's move on to Will's Good Idea for the Week of 4/27/25. For starters, we should probably spend this week reading through all of World War 1990: Thatcher's War.  We've got to write the RUC retaking Derry, and the Armagh chapter. We could read through while we percolate. Too soon?

Other good ideas, or not. You know, if Thatcher's War does come in at 85,000 words, getting to 100 K just wouldn't be that big of a deal. From there, 120 K looks doable. And that's almost enough for two books. [Really?-Ed]. No. But it's a thought.
