Saturday Updates

Good morning, people of Stroock's Books, and happy Saturday.

A few notes on the Israel attack on Iran.

The Israeli's first blow seems to have been directed at Natanz and Iranian leadership. The Israelis wiped out Iranian military leadership and has killed nine head nuclear scientists. Mossad and the IDF remain capable of daring and shockingly effective covert action.

The Israelis bombed several nuclear sites, including Natanz and Isfahan, but not Fordow yet.

Israel has all but destroyed Iran's air defenses. We're curious as to why the Israelis felt they had to take out every last SAM and radar, clearing a path into Iran, they say. For whom are the Israelis clearing a path? The IDF recently pulled off a large-scale commando raid in Syria....hint? If we were writing this, the Israelis would launch a massive commando raid on Fordow. Why not?

What's so important at the Iranian 216th Armored Brigade HQ that the Israelis bombed it?

The Israelis seem to be hitting industrial targets today.

The Iranians have launched about 200 missiles at Israel. They've damaged a few buildings and inflicted a few casualties. The Israelis have spent a lot of time taking out Iranian surface to surface missile launchers. The Iranians are targeting Israeli cities. As far as this blog is concerned, that makes Iranian political leadership fair game.

The Things.

Despite two trips to the Motor Vehicle Commision and a brand-new war breaking out, we had a decent enough week. We worked out the Brit set up chapter in World War 1990: Thatcher's War. The invasion force and plan are set. Next week will probably be an editing and read through week. World War 1990: Thatcher's War is (holy Moses) 75,000 words.

We wrote most of the opening chapter in World War 1990: The Managua campaign. We'll refocus here next week. World War 1990: The Managua Campaign is 5,000 words.

We're off to a dance recital
