We'll not see his like again

Ha-Ha! Netanyahu cut a deal with Shas and UTJ and survived a Knesset no confidence vote. The Opposition can't bring forth another dissolution bill for 6 months. Ha-ha! Ahhhhh-hahahaha! The best part is that Bibi will screw the Haredi eventually. Please do.

Good morning, Stroock's Books enthusiasts. We awoke tired and unenthused.

Brian Wilson has passed on to the great beach in the sky. He was a musical genius, a savant who revolutionized rock and roll. Good Vibrations is easily one of the ten greatest rock songs ever, a stone cold musical roller coaster, a cavalcade of sound. Supposedly, Good Vibrations is about acid trips. But the song makes us think of summer, beaches, surfing, and summer girls. A favorite.

War drums beat in the Middle East, with the United States evacuating non-military personnel and Israel making preparations for a strike on Iran, they say. The US and Iran will meet on Sunday as well. The diplomatic kabuki continues apace.

We saw on twitter that many Israeli officials are urging the government to wrap up the war one way or the other, citing diplomatic costs and diminished returns in Gaza. Certainly a fair argument. Bibi always moves cautiously, delaying a decision until a decision must needs be made. Stroock's Books believes it's time to make the decision. Gaza, Bibi.

DOGE Report: our day was cut short because we spent a couple of hours at the Motor Vehicle Service getting our Real ID, the bastards. Still we wrote two scenes in World War 1990: Thatcher's War. Lots of sitting around and talking, and Thatcher's address to Parliament.
