Will's Sunday Post Without a Good Idea

Good morning Stroock's Books Christian faithful. Enjoy the post-Church lunch buffet, we hear this place has a top-notch omelet station.

Yawn...we took care of the dishes and laundry yesterday, and followed up our domestic work with some leaf blowing. That's an impressive pile of red leaves out there in the front yard (oh look high winds are blowing the leaves all over. Whatevs, man). The we broke out the snowblower and tested it. All is well. The snow will be blowed. After that the gym, and finally hibachi.

Irish research, okay...we've watched a couple of episodes of Derry Girls and started the Siege of Whatever-it's-called last night. We've spent so much time Google earthing Derry that we recognized all of the Derry Girls exterior shots, 'They're on the west bank of the Foyle, south of the Craigavon Bridge, and look, there's St. Columb's church in the background...' [Oh bravo, clap...clap...clap...And it's Londonderry]. Shut up Ed. You're from Liverpool.

Aside from a few idioms and affectations like 'grand' or 'me-car' these people speak more or less like us. We find we're missing about every third word in Derry Girls. Our man on the ground in Ireland advises us that the Derry accent isn't even that bad.
