Trump is coming to New Jersey:
President Donald Trump is returning to New Jersey in a few weeks, but not to visit his golf course. This time, he’ll hold one of his patented rallies in the district of a congressman who recently made national headlines by switching parties and pledging his support for the president.Trump will host a “Keep America Great” rally on Tuesday, Jan. 28, in Wildwood, his campaign announced Monday. The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Wildwoods Convention Center.
That's new Republican Jeff Van Drew's district, NJ02, and it's red. Southern Jersey, about half the 609 area code, exits 1-4 on the Turnpike, that's Trump country. As Christ Christie said a few weeks ago, three or four congressional seats in this sate can swing back to the GOP. If Trump can do that, he'll retake the House.
