A Fine Wednesday Morne

We had a special Tuesday night treat of Hamburgers and milkshakes. The Stroocklettes were pleased. Our gout has yet to flair up. If we were any more hydrated we'd float away. We'll update this blog as events warrant.

Yesterday the Baseball Writers of America (fuckheads), held their annual Baseball Hall of Fame vote. They failed to elect a single player (morons). Pitching great and Yankee killer Curt Schilling was on the ballot and only got 71% of the vote. For those who don't know, Schilling was an absolute beast of a righthanded starter who won 200 + games and struck out 3000+ batters. He was a stone cold killer in the post season with an 11-2 record. Twice he broke Yankee hearts. If you don't think Curt Schilling belongs in the Hall of Fame, you don't understand baseball and probably should watch something else, like Married at First Sight or I know, a spelling bee.*

Zerohedge reports on Senator Rand Paul's vivisecting of the Democrats and their sham-impeachment. We urge readers to click on over and watch it. Paul has another Mr. Smith Goes to Washington moment. Remember when he mounted an honest to god filibuster about drone strikes? Forty-five GOPs voted for his resolution against impeachment, including Mitch McConnell.** The usual squishes voted against the resolution including Mittens and Eliza Minernowski***. She can see a senate primary challenge from her house.

The latest Israeli polls all show the same thing, Bibi and Likud ahead, followed by two strong right wing parties and the centrist Yesh Attid coming in second. As everyone hates Bibi, don't ask us how he forms a coalition. Ever the political wizard Bibi is, we swear we're not making this up, trying to win over Arab voters. Stop laughing. Ok seriously, stop laughing.

We have a lot on our plate and weren't planning on colluding with the Russians this week. But Maxim got into bed next to us, put a gentle hand on our shoulder and asked, 'Honey, are you awake?' So it looks like we'll chronicle more of the internal GOP war. It's nice to be wanted.

Derek Jeter, Derek Jeter

Speaking of sports...

Yesterday the Baseball Writers Association of America announced they elected Larry Walker and Derek Jeter to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Walker getting in is a joke.* But Derek Jeter is one of the best shortstops ever, the best shortstop of his era and an all-time Yankee great. That's saying something considering he played for a team that boasts Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Mantle... Jeter's stats speak for themselves.  He was elected with 99.7 percent of the vote. Whose the baseball retard that doesn't think Jeter is a Hall of Famer? He was a spray, gap hitter with some power and a clutch player. So clutch. So very clutch.
