3000 + words And?

Good afternoon, consumers of Stroock's Books. We write boredly from the Donut, where we are the only customer. No radio playing, thank the Many Faced god, and the staff seems relaxed and chipper during the afternoon lull.

What the fuck is wrong with these people?: "Students of a Satmar elementary school marched in Jerusalem in shirts with the slogan: 'Enlistment or the gallows? Our answer is the gallows,' while carrying miniature gallows complete with a noose." The Hasidic/Haredi, no matter the sect, can be a piece of work, can't they? Would it kill them to serve a few years? According to this story, it would. Hungarian bastards.

Leo Varadkar, Ireland's gay, Indian Tao-whatever, is stepping down. Surely Leo's failed attempt to eradicate women from the Irish constitution is spurring his resignation. Our man on the ground in the land of Eire wonders if this presages bad economic times. We've no idea if Leo's resignation matters in the long run. The elites don't see losing elections as impediments to their designs. We await events.

Black Pill Will. This blog admits it has less cause to be Black Pilled of late. Trump, who by rights should be in the Oval Office, is leading Joe in national and relevant state polls. If Will's old theory about Trump and the GOP being under sampled a couple of points everywhere still holds, then Trump is well ahead. The good colonel, who is always right, is certainly right when he writes that there's plenty of good news for the GOP. However, we won't stop taking our morning Black Pill with the blood pressure and cholesterol meds till we see the GOP's plan to Stop the Steal.

That's more than we planned to say on politics, but there it is.

We are 3,000 words into our Pancho Villa short story anthology submission and are sorely tempted to start over. Right now the story features a couple of cavalrymen sitting on horses watching trains pull into the fictional town of Colonia Sur. Okay, the reader learns a lot about the scene, setting and characters. But is what they learn interesting? Upon this we shall dwell.
