Our first thought was, 'Mueller is fucked and he knows it,' and this subpoena was just an info op for Mueller to say, 'I was getting close when he fired me.'
We also thought it was unlikely that Mueller could get those bank records. It's one thing to subpoena, say, People's Bank of Smyrna Delaware, it's another to subpoena a massive multi-national like Deutsche which has every reason to fight such a move for the sake of its depositors and the resources to do so.
Maybe a Clinton flunky at Deutsche Bank did this?
The White House denies the President's bank records have been subpoenaed.
Meanwhile Hotair tells us that another top member of Mueller's team hates Trump:
Judicial Watch today released two productions (335 pages and 44 pages) of Justice Department (DOJ) documents showing strong support by top DOJ officials for former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates’ refusal to enforce President Trump’s Middle East travel ban executive order. In one email, Andrew Weissmann, one of Robert Mueller’s top prosecutors and formerly the Obama-era Chief of the Justice Department’s Criminal Fraud Section, applauds Yates writing: “I am so proud. And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects.”…Hotair then asks if it's wrong for people on Mueller's team to have political opinions. No, not really, but we are seeing a pattern of anti-Trump bias and something like half the lawyers on staff have made large donations to Democrats.
Also, we remember what the Clintons did to Ken Starr so......
Yeah Karma
