Alright Republic of California, or whatever you're calling yourself, now that we've talked about defense, lets get into the really interesting financial stuff.
1. What will you call your new currency? We suggest the Cali with a scripted 'C' as its' symbol.
2. What will back the C, gold? Oil reserves? Or will the C be backed by the full faith and credit of the Republic of California?
3. Will Sacramento free-float the C or peg it to the dollar?
4. Upon independence most Californians will hoard American Dollars. Will Sacramento accept USDs as payment.
5. Will California like Canada and Mexico, accept the USD?
6. Will the C have denominations of 1,5,10,20,50, 100?
7.Why not have a 1-C coin like the Limeys do with their Pound Sterling?
8. Whose going on the money?
9. We don't suppose you'd put John Fremont on the C10.
10. It's going to be Jerry Browne, isn't it? And Harvey Milk. And Stokley Carmichael.
