Thoughts on the Anti-Gun March

As noted below we were in DC at the same time as the March for our Lives. We saw a lot of these folks up close. These were groups of civic minded young people for the most part, chaperoned by adult. Many were staying in our hotel, Crystal City Marriot, which we assure the reader(s) is not cheap.

Anyway we make this point becuase this event was well organized with a lot of cash flowing around for buses, accommodations, etc, etc. This was the moment the anti-gun left was waiting to exploit.

Last year the left gathered half a million screaming harpies for the pussy march and we were prepared to be blown away by this gathering and point out the left/Dems yuuge organizational advantage. However reports from the Daily Caller and CBS indicate that only 200,000 showed up, organizers were expecting to top half a million.

Hasn't anyone on that side heard of  expectations management?

Other than a few limits here and there gun control is not an issue most Americans support. This is a matter than requires persuasion not demagoguery. How many converts did these people get with 'Kill the NRA' signs? Oldest Daughter pointed out a Fuck Trump hat yesterday. You stay classy.

That little Nazi David Hogg is a tad off-putting, no? Someone told him to keep saying he is 'disgusted'. Someone told him to never smile, to look like he is overcome by the fierce urgency of now. His intensity alone should be enough to change minds.

This march persuaded people, all right. It persuaded millions of gun owning Americans that they should be terrified of these people. Vote accordingly.
