The Austrian Painter: Reviews!

The reviews for The Austrian Painter: What if Germany Won the Great War? are in. Ten reviews, nine five stars. We're doing great. A sampling which we find interesting for reasons we'll get into-

Reviewer Dick: This guy can WRITE....A just flat-out-MASTERFUL set of elegant devices interweaving ‘what happened in the fifty years after the Great War’ with the human story of some beautifully-delineated characters in a modern (1964) scenario.

Mr. Michael D Lewis: Wow, just, wow. This was beyond what I expected. A fantastic read, an amazingly well thought out alternate history...

Dr. John W. Graves: Amazingly well done concept of WWI alternative ending. Highly recommend. Much better than Stroock's other works.

Dr. Graves review is the kicker for us. We agree, The Austrian Painter is better than our other works. In writing The Austrian Painter, we took a step forward as a writer. The Austrian painter doesn't feel like any of our previous works. It is more detailed, more thoughtful and differently paced.

The Austrian Painter is part of our 'new ideas' series in which we hope to breakout of the techno-rut we've been in for a while. The Austrian Painter sets the standard going forward.
