On Putin's War

Will Carmichael points out that there will most likely be no war between China and Russia during Putin's lifetime, hence the Putin's War project doesn't really work.

True enough. But we must think of marketing, and Putin War is much more marketable than say, The Future War Between Russia and China.

World War 1990: ANZACs exists becuase it could be titled ANZACs, and thus be very marketable in Australia.

They may hate the ANZACs, but they bought lot's of copies. You see, there's really no such thing as a bad review.

  1. Not saying you can't use the idea behind Putin's war just rename the principles. A generic name details from who they represent. Makes it easier to have them do what you want if they have no real world figure. Operation:Land Grab is quite marketable...or General Winter and the Dragon...Make it a war of conquest with China being the sole holders of "true" communism....or a Russian revolution that reignites Communism in Russia and makes it expansionist. Just a few ideas...

  2. Didnt Robert Heinlein mentioned an Anglo American Russian alliance against a Chinese Hegemony in some future war?
