We've gone Dutch

By the end of the day World War 1990: NL will be 10,000 words. This includes a corps commander, a battalion commander, and coy commander and a F-16 squadron commander.

We've got Netherlands I Corps deployed  west of Bremen.

We've got Prime Minister Lubbers and the government scrambling.

We've got the town of Groningen readying for refugees and invasion.

Anyone got any other subplot ideas?

  1. We've got some Spetznaz action planned. Maybe something with the navy. I dunno.

  2. Are you playing some kind of economics quiz? preparing for refugees and invading

  3. What are the Dutch Marines up to? Plus I'm pretty sure they had at least one Walrus class sub in service in 1990.

  4. This is an excellent question. I would think broken up by coys to guard ports.

  5. When I was in the Marines we the British marines and the Dutch marines would of been task to defend Norway and then invade northern Russia

  6. I'm aware. I already used 3 Commando in Artic Storm but made no mention of the Dutch.

  7. That's what I was asking about. Jeez I'm really pushing Norway operations aren't I? Plus if I remember right the Walrus class was one of the quietest boats in the world and "sank" an American carrier in exercises in the early 90s.

  8. The Dutch marines are only battalion size unit so they would of been attached to the royal marine commando
