It was 20 Yeas ago Today

Twenty years ago we were a researcher at CNN Inside Politics in Washington DC.

Every morning we'd take the Metro from Alexandria Virginia into Union Station a few blocks up the street from the office. The station doubled as a shopping mall and there was a movie theatre in the sublevel.

Before getting our coffee and heading to the office we went down to the theatre and bought this:

Sorry, we weren't skeptical or cynical. We loved The Phantom Menace, we really did, and we recall the experience well.

Only later did we realize, only later.

But for that evening it was wondrous.
