8-8-19 in New Jersey

For those of you who are wondering, here's what property taxes in the Garden State are like:

Mountain Lakes, NJ tops the list with an average property tax bill of $20,417.

Casa de Stroock is just under $10,000 in Bridgewater.

The schools are good, we can say that for New Jersey, except for Camden, Trenton, man-child Corey Booker's Newark, and Atlantic City, whose schools are run by the state:
Homeowners now owe an average of nearly $700 per year more, thanks to increases in school and county taxes. The city and state say the increases may bring "pain and hardship to some homeowners." “This is the mess we got,” says city resident David Logan. "What it's going to do is send a lot of people out of Atlantic City." County Executive Dennis Levinson says the reason for the increase starts with the casinos and ends with the state.
On math and reading scores, 12 and 19 percent of children met expectations in Atlantic City.

We say abolish and bulldoze the schools, let parents keep their taxes and educate their children themselves.
