Iowa and New Hampshire, so Gay

For foreign readers, because of a historical fluke the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary are the first two states to vote in the party nomination process, giving these two small, insular states influence far beyond their importance.

In 1976 Jimmy Carter  placed second after 'none of the above'. A big win for the unknown governor. Ever since candidates have been kissing Iowa's ass and promising corn ethanol subsides till the end of time.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg is now leading in both states, among the whitest in the nation. His support comes at the expense of other white Democrats like Biden. Being a Jew, Bernie Sanders is not white and Senator Warren is of course a Cherokee. In Pete's home town of South Bend, Indiana, black voters hate his guts, so he doesn't have a chance in the southern primaries where black Democrats dominate. But Mayor Pete soars in white places and spaces - bistros, Jean Paul Sartre readings, debutante balls, wine tastings, gender reveal parties, squash courts, etc-etc...He is the boutique candidataes of the white elite.

Rainbow dollars from America's wealthy Gay elite are fueling his rise, also contributions from virtue signaling bi-coastal Dems. This is one of those primaries where every candidate has his moment, now it's Mayor Pete's turn as the anybody but Biden crowd takes a look at him.

There's a naval officer/Village People joke in here someplace but I'll be damned if I can find it.
