Mrs. Stroock is taking the Stroocklettes to see her father for the holidays, so we'll be in seclusion till New Year's Eve. This does not always bring out the best in us.
World War 1990: Nederlandse is 65,000 words. We are almost done with Grote Tankslag. We are adding the planned A-10 scenes. After consulting with a friend who used to be Air Force base security, we are adding some scenes about that and are having a great time with it.
Our Pershing short story is due New Year's Eve and is coming along fine, just fine.
We should be getting back Three Seas this weekend. We plan to give the MS it's final reading this week.
Mrs. Stroock does end of the year self assessments (she's a suit) we'll be doing the same, and so will Ed.
[Yay....-Ed]
With the Bat Mitzvah in the books the Stroocks are looking into summer trips (Paris/London 2018, Ireland 2019). At the moment we are tentatively going back to Paris and then the Low Countries. We're still listening to French CDs. Guess we'd have to learn Belgian for this one. Visiting the Meuse-Argonne looks too inconvenient from Paris. But Belleau Wood is forty miles away via train or car. Hmmmm...
I would so love to see Bellau Wood if you get there make sure to say a prayer for all my brothers killed there for me
