There followed a lot of pointless gestures. The police chief resigned. The shooting officer was fired. Wendy's was torched. God, we love Wendy's but can't eat their burgers anymore becuase of our gout.
We spent a lot of time thinking about this yesterday, and by evening we decided the shooting was justified, or in the words of Tim Pool, not unjustified.
But there's something else, and the more we thought about it the angrier we became. We, you reader(s), are a law abiding, job holding, tax paying, patriotic American.
We counted, and have determined we've been pulled over a dozen times in 31 years of driving. And we've never* given the cops a hard time, refused lawful orders, fought with them, stole their gear and ran away.
Pass out drunk in a parking lot? Riot? Whose got the goddamn time?

That's the thing I will never understand why riot over people breaking the law ever case of police brutality they root over leads back to someone breaking the law there is no way I'm going out and protest because some white trash meth head got beaten or killed by the cops I just don't understand
