More Thoughts on Restraint

You can nod along to Tucker Carlson, you can watch the news, you can follow Twitter. That last one will give you a rage headache and fill your heart with hate, like a Spartan whose just watched a Persian cavalrymen lance his only son. Last night we scrolled and scrolled and finally said to ourselves, 'This is not good for us. Let's go google pics of Stella Star instead.'

But the sun's out, the girls are playing with their friends, the traffic feels about normal, and we wore our MAGA hat and nobody seemed to mind, care, or even notice. And even if someone did mind, notice, or care. So what? You gonna take a swing at a guy for growling at your hat? Na, you'd have to be breaking into Chateau de Stroock for us to really care. We ain't white knuckling it no more.

And besides, we all know what would happen if it came to that.
