Saturday Updates

Greetings from the Stroock Northern Strategic Direction. Fami de Stroock has removed to the lake house in Great Barrington, Massachusetts for the next several days. We've already taken the family boat out for a spin (Waterproof, named for our grandmother's home town in Louisiana). Here in the Berkshires, the water is still cold.  Something really big jumped into the canal last night. We think it was a bear.

Business.

Sales of World War 1990: Battle of the Three Seas and the other books in the series remain strong. Boy, did we ever need to see that. After 2019 and the long slog through Three Seas did we ever need to see that. We're Patton, standing on a rise, watching the tanks roll by in the snow, metaphorically.

We've begun cleaning up The Great Nuclear War of 1975. Coming long slow but good.

We spent the week working on The Final Storm Georgia scenes. Also coming along good. We've tried to provide detail without going into too much detail and getting down in the muck of Georgian SSR politics. This week we'll wright the Battle of the Roki Tunnel scene.

We've spent the last few days wondering what we can do in the current situation. Half our ideas require too much time. We have a job and a family. The other half end with us getting arrested. We have a job and a family. We asked a friend in the Bridgewater PD, he said they're good, thanks. We asked another cop friend what good citizens can do for the police and he said, 'Just be supportive and don't ever vote Democrat.' The other thing we can do is sit back, pour a glass, watch and laugh. Because what's about to happen in these big blue cities ain't gonna be pretty, and the white urban hipsters are gonna get what they want, good and hard as Mr. Menken said.
