Will Nukes America or the Yankees are in Chattanooga
We know of no better way to communicate the feelings that the South generally had for us Yankees, a tad resentful, but jocular and not mean spirited at all:
We've been through Chattanooga once. Once. We recall a lot of mountains.
We think the city of 119,000 in (1975) could have survived a nuclear winter. Looks like it had it's own power via the Chickamauga Dam and the Tennessee mountains would have prevented the city from being inundated by refugees and afforded some protection from fallout. By the spring of '76, Chattanooga is probably the most important city east of the Mississippi.

If you ever doubt God just go up into the Mountains around Chattanooga and you will never again if I was to move from Memphis it would be there plus the reasons it was important during the civil war still remain the railroads would be important to put the southeast back together again
ReplyDeleteBy the way my favorite Warner brothers cartoon not involving Foghorn Leghorn
ReplyDeleteHad a thought with all the railroads going into Chattanooga would it had been targeted for a nuke strike
