Wither Will

You wake up in the morning, get coffee, read the NY Post*, update various social media, check book sales, realize you woke up at 12:45 AM in a cold sweat (again) and thought it'd be a good idea to eat some banana chips, recall the various FB slap-fights you started the night before becuase you're pissed off**, remind yourself not to start with the Daily Caller and Breitbart so early in the morning***, till you end up on your living room couch writing this blog post and have no idea where it's going to go.

We look out upon the land, read the news, and feel nothing but fear and trepidation. How do you argue with people who hate Lincoln? As predicted, they're coming for Mount Rushmore. The president seems unfocused. The GOP is led by a bunch of craven pols. We see Vladimir Putin has basically been voted another 16 years in office. Say what you want about the man, but he'd never let the mob touch a statue of Peter the Great. Mister. we could use a man like Vladimir Putin again?

Well it's Thursday. Creatively it's shaping up to be  a pretty good week. The Battle of the Roki Tunnel is about finished. We've done some good work on the Great Nuclear War of 1975. The hard copy of Nederland is formatted. Debbie has the short story compilation. We have the germ of an idea for Inforos next week; Bushies for Biden? This can only help Trump.

[So what's the goddamn problem?-Ed]

I know, right?

Where does it all go? What's it all about? Why are we getting existential all of the sudden? Ennui. Angst. Thy name is Will.
