Your Combined Political, Creative and Medical Update for 9/7/20

We've all heard the chatter about Angkor's plan to create confusion on election night, claim victory and then say Trump won't leave office. We think this scenario is likely, right now. But who knows what will happen in the coming months. So don't panic. What this really means is that Angkor knows it's going to get slaughtered. Also, please name another Angkor scheme these last for years that's worked. Whatever happens there will be violence, of that reader(s) can be certain. Prepare accordingly.

This gout attack has been persistent and clever. Yesterday it migrated to the joint on our big toe. We'd put the pain level at 4.5/5. That was a fun night. After seeing some of the listed side affects in one of those big-pharma ads (brain bleeding) we looked up the side effects of our own meds. We came away unhappy, extremely unhappy. We really don't think clearly or too good at times like this, but like we said...

At least Star Wars was on TV. Let's just say, the build up to the attack scene in Return of the Jedi is just perfect. The closing in of the fleet, the score, the perfect blend of hope and tension.  Again, the score. Magnificent.

We may have noted before that in The Great Nuclear War of 1975 the Feds are dredging the Rappahannok and turning Fredericksburg into the East Coast's main port. From there they can link it to the rail line and I-95. Back in our NOVA days we went to the town and battlefield a few times. We've stood at the rock wall. It's occurred to us that we could build a whole chapter around this like we have with the Alaskan Pipeline effort. It certainly needs more than one scene so readers aren't like, 'Wait, they're building of Fredericksburg? Oh....ok...yeah I guess.'

Seven Stories is doing a lot better than we thought it would. In fact, it's selling. We didn't think it would sell. We thought Seven Stories would be like Blooms. Seven Stories is not like Blooms. There is hope.
