Saturday Updates

We cannot say we're back.

But we can say we're doing the Saturday update.

Last night was the first night since you know when, that we were in a good mood. The Fami de Stroock couldn't decide what to do for dinner so Mrs. Stroock made a command decision, as is her wont, and decided to get Wendy's. Yes, we all got a frosty.

Tonight is hibachi night.

Our feet once again trouble us. We don't see the point in going to a doctor. We've done everything the doctors told us to do yet here we are. We'll tough it out. Which is how we ended up on our back with a tube running up our arm and into our artery to clear a 95% blockage.

We're still bored at night and still sit around trying to come up with something we could work on from 10-11. A thousand words a session wouldn't be a big deal. We've toyed with beginning World War 1990: Saddam's War. We've done a little research and think we've been overestimating the Iraqi Army.

We're hanging out on Parler.

Our Soviet handler at Inforos keeps slipping into bed, nudging us and asking, 'Honey, are you awake?' but we keep telling him we're not in the mood. We really aren't. Are we avoiding self assessment of our predictions? Maybe. We got the popular vote wrong but are convinced they stole the rest. We were right about the landslide polls being wrong. Feel free to weigh in, reader(s).

On Friday we swallowed hard and made a tough and expensive business decision that may push Nederland back to 15 December. It had to be done.

The Great Nuclear War of 1975 slog continues. We are somewhat happy with what we see. It is still theoretically possible to be slogged out by 1 December. But we doubt it.

This week we opened up World War 1990: The Final Storm for the first time since September. This too is a slog but it is going well. There's a ton of cleanup to do on the 38,000 words we've already written. Basically we have two parts. Georgia and The Battle of the Roki Tunnel, then updating chapters, usually by region. This includes the Barents Sea, Cuba/Nica, Europe, etc.

Here in New Jersey the Wuhan infection rate is spiking. We know people who have it. Three weeks ago we had a strong cold. Never broke a 100 fever though, so we couldn't get tested. We shrug.

Also, the congressional race in our own NJ07 district has been uncalled, as our man Tom Kean has cut incumbent Tom Malinowski's lead from 28,412  to just 4,327. Given the way most congressional races are going, there's every reason for confidence. That would be a nice consolation prize. We're going to need a consolation prize.

Here's a video of last Saturday's Stop the Steal rally, Bedminster, New Jersey, courtesy of the Epoch Times. Wait about 30 seconds:
