Italians and Jews on a Tues

An hour on the treadmill yesterday totaling 3.62 miles. It was tougher than the last time, but still not terrible. Our ankle is sore this morning. When we finally checked our time the clock read 59:49, which was pretty cool. Today we lift.

Let's click over to the New York Post* and see what's new this morning with New York's greatest killer...Oh my god! Cuomo, Elliot Spitzer, Anthony Wiener...what is it with New York Democrats? As the great Ann Coulter once said, no wonder liberal women hate men.

And speaking of the man who's killed more New Yorkers than Osama bin Laden, here's our latest bit of misinformation at Inforos: 'As is Andrew Cuomo, Governor of New York. Cuomo had once been hailed as ‘America’s Governor’ for his handling of the COVID-19 crisis. He won a television Emmy Award for his daily news conferences and published a book extolling his leadership. But a report issued by State Attorney General Letitia James says Cuomo’s administration misrepresented the number of deaths caused by the governor’s policy of putting COVID-19 patients in nursing homes. The Cuomo Administration claimed 8,711 died in nursing homes. But the Attorney General’s report says the true number is over 13,000. Melissa De Rossa, the governor’s secretary, confirmed on a conference call with state Democrats that Cuomo’s administration covered up the true number of COVID-19 related nursing home deaths.' On to Moscow, Comrades! Is Killer Andy C. finished? I think Killer Andy C. is finished.

Anyhoo...We went through several scenes of The Great Salvation of 1976 and we're pleased. This section deals with Matt's trek and the Rockefeller Administration trying to set up elections in the fall. There's also a Reconstruction Commission stocked with successful people including Milton Freidman, Karl Sagan, George Will, Don Shula, etc etc and chaired by Daniel Patrick Moynihan. We could use a few more names, actually. The Great Nuclear War of 1975 ended up being about the US with a side story on Britain. We think '76 will need a similar side story about another country. We're open to suggestions.

This blog wonders if its publishing schedule is all wrong. Maybe we should wrap up the two nuke novels and put them aside till 2022 and focused The Final Storm and getting Israel Strikes: War with the Turks out there. This would give is time to write the third nuke novel too.

Yesterday we began the readthrough of our first Indo-Pak War article, Three Wars with Pakistan. We're surprised at how well it holds up. It'll be published this week.

Via the Times of Israel, this is illustrative of the religious divide in Israel and a very big deal: 'Israel’s High Court of Justice issued a groundbreaking ruling on Monday that will mean formal recognition by the state to non-Orthodox Jewish communities in the country — and likely spark a dramatic uptick in the country’s religious culture wars and, quite possibly, a move in the Knesset to clip the wings of the court.' That's right, the state only recognized Haredi conversions. Bastards. Right now this blog guesses Bibi forms another government with Naftali Bennett's Yamina Party playing kingmaker. He's said publicly he'd join a government with Bibi.
