Nothing but weights at the gym yesterday. It's going so well we're approaching 255 pounds. That's up nearly 20 since the new year. Again, all our pants are a hell of a lot loser, so that's pure muscle we're putting on. Having been to the gym three days in a row, we're not sure if were going to hit the treadmill this afternoon. We'll see.
Here's a new piece we wrote for 19FortyFive on Robert Kagan: 'Robert Kagan has taken to the pages of Foreign Affairs (where else?) to argue for American internationalism. The author of several books, Kagan is a staunch advocate for an interventionist American foreign policy. He earned degrees from Yale and Harvard, and a doctorate from American University in Washington D.C. His academic credentials are clearly without question.' Click it on over...
We had another good day of reading through The Great Salvation of 1976.
We consulted with a fellow North American, or Norte Americano for those of you that Habla Espaniol, estabien, and we think a side plot about a surviving Soviet city might work. Readers are going to want to know what's happening in the USSR. We're thinking Ulan Ude for a variety of reasons we'll get into in another post. Still open to other ideas.
Let's see what the New York Post has to say about the greatest mass-killer in state history...Nothing much this morning. We're at three women, four if you count the 'eat the sausage' gal. There will be more. The legislature is getting ready to revoke Killer Andy C's emergency powers. That's a good start. Cuomo is in trouble, but this blog just doesn't believe he'll resign or be removed. Maybe he won't run again in 2022. State AG Letitia James certainly is. If he tries to stick it out, it's gonna get real fuckin' ugly.
We do see that ten rockets hit an American base in Iraq. Good going Joe, you're going to get yourself a nice little war. Liz Cheney (defenestrate) will be thrilled.
