The Tuesday Q

Weights on Sunday and an hour on the treadmill between dropping the Stroocklettes off at dance and picking them up yesterday. Dad score: Superior. We glided, jusst glided. We feel great this morning. Also a little gimpy. Mrs. Stroock is off dealing with a family issue for an indefinite period of time, so it's us, three girls and two cats. Everyone off to school this morning A-Ok.

A report from the Bridgewater Breeze on last weekend's parents protest: With chants of “Kids Voices, Kids Choices,” “Facts Over Fears” and even “We Appreciate Our Teachers,” a crowd of about 100 parents, teachers and students gathered at the Bridgewater municipal building March 13 to call for a full five-day option for students to return to school, exactly 365 days after the schools first closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The rally was hosted by the BRRSD Parents for a Plan Forward, and mirrored a number of rallies held statewide to recognize the one-year anniversary of schools being closed due to the pandemic. “The purpose is to give kids the opportunity to get back in school five days,” said parent Adam Juechter, who MC’d the rally. “This group came together organically, and is focused on getting kids back into school for a full five days.” We were there. Scroll through the pics you'll see a man in a red hat. That's us. Then we stormed the district building.

The New York Post reports: 'According to Bloomberg, proposals currently under consideration by the White House include raising the corporate tax rate to 28 percent from 21 percent, reining in tax preferences for “pass-through businesses,” raising the income tax rate on individuals earning more than $400,000, broadening the estate tax, and a higher capital gains tax rate for individuals earning at least $1 million per year.' We're sure fiscal conservative fraudsters who have accomplished nothing as the Federal Debt doubled and doubled and doubled again in the last generation, are rising in opposition. But this blog see's nothing with which to disagree. Why should MAGA nation oppose raising taxes on the woke rich and corporations? Bad economic policy? Conservative please.

We went through The Great Salvation of 1976's latest chapter yesterday and found it totally lacking. Ideas need to be fleshed out. Scenes needed more detail. In other words we have a lot of work to do. We'll need to talk a lot about the Department of Agriculture. Riveting we know.

Man, on the treadmill did we ever conceptualize World War 1990: The Weser. Just imagine an opening scene with the commander of French II Corps paying homage at Lafayette's Tomb before battle.  If Israel Strikes: War with the the Turks is a good business decision now, it will be a good business decision in January 2022. A clean one too, with a fresh start. No decisions have been made.

We talked to Qbert a little yesterday. He had some interesting things to say about QAnon online-ops but wouldn't give me many details. Qbert said cryptically, 'When you know, you'll know' and pointed to the Super Straight thingy as an example. Plots within plots, he says. Yes, Qbert is doing that on purpose.
